Kotarides Companies is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Construction Trades Assistant for our rapidly growing company. Kotarides takes pride in managing a portfolio of over 4,500 apartments with exceptional customer service. Ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- Willing to learn the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used in the construction trades.
- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling experience
- Rough/finish carpentry and cabinet installation
- Drywall finishing /repair and interior/exterior paint
- Basic Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC
- Work with blueprints or instructions from Supervisors
- Knowledge of arithmetic, basic geometry, and their applications to construction trades.
- Attention to detail, quality and cleanliness.
- Ability to work at elevated heights.
- Must be able to travel within Virginia and North Carolina
Qualifications:
- Previous Trades or Construction experience a plus,
- Must have own hand tools.
- Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
